V’15 EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

 V’15 EMPOWERMENT PROJECT, GHANA

October 2011- October 2015

In the bid to help support the attainment of the MDG Goal 2 (achieving universal primary education) as well as help avert the influx of unemployable youth in the country, a youth organization seeks the partnership of sister organizations and other stake holders to address the major challenges which impede pupils and student in rural communities from  pursuing further education;  a problem which has largely been attributed by the Ghana Education Service to the lack of effective motivation for students as well as inadequate teaching and learning materials. The project first seeks to resource a number of first cycle schools in rural areas in Ghana with some needed facilities to enhance teaching and learning. As well, it seeks to empower pupils and students in these areas to pursue higher learning through capacity building workshops and mini seminars.
